With over four decades of stage experience, Steven is a seasoned musician who has been a staple of the Durham music scene since his youth. His versatility is unmatched, demonstrating mastery over electric, acoustic, 6 and 12-string guitars, as well as the resonator and bass. While his roots are firmly planted in the legendary classic rock of the 60s and 70s, citing icons like The Beatles, Rush, and Alabama as core inspirations, his pallet has expanded to include everything from blues and jazz to classical arrangements. As Steven puts it, "All music has its relevance... the connection between the performer and audience is the key. We keep the crowd engaged through a vast repertoire that spans decades, knowing exactly what to play and when to play it."
This extensive song library covers hits from the 1930s to today's current favorites, ensuring every performance remains fresh and exciting. Steven's collaborative work with Amanda shines in every setting, from intimate acoustic gatherings to expansive outdoor festivals; their natural onstage synergy is truly something to experience.
